The Mandovi and the Zuari are the main sources of livehood of Goa. In Goa there are over forty estuarine, eight islans on the sea, ninety islands on rivers. The totality of navigable rivers reach the lenght of 252 km (157 miles). There are over three hundred irrigation dams, built during the Kadamba dynasty and about a hundred places with thermal waters.
